Finally the book is finished, thanks to everyone who helps me...

Finally after about two years of hard work my book about Mike Taylor is finished!

First of all I wish to thank everyone who helps me in doing it with memories, documents, rare photos, unrealised drawings and scores...

I hope it will be a very interesting book for Mike's fans and jazz followers. It's full of rare stuff and first-hand stories by great musicians as Jon Hiseman, Ron Rubin, Trevor Watts, John Mumford, Pete Brown, Evan Parker...

My challenge has been to give Mike Taylor his life back after a long oblivion where also  his few great albums was totally missed.

Now my intention is to publish it in English, so publishers interested into printing it can contact me at: dopachino@tiscali.it

Dave Tomlin, Ron Rubin, Dave Gelly, Jon Hiseman, Henry Lowther, Jak Kilby, Tony Reeves, Digby Fairweather, Lyn Dobson, Norma Winstone, Trevor Watts, Evan Parker, Goudie Charles, John Jack, Michael Burke, Ron Ostwald, Pete Muir, Pete Brown, John Mumford: these the names of very kind persons  that let me interviewed them about MIKE TAYLOR in the last months.

Other people (Tony Tomlin, Koro Ito, Bob Stuckey, Michael Fitzgerald, Alyn Shipton, Paul Wilson, John Marshall, Laura Mills (Essex Police Headquarters), Barbara Bridge (Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Library Development) helped me in some different ways.

Struck on listening his few great rare albums, in 2012 I decided to write a real biography on him. Very few stuffs are available - first of all the excellent writings by Duncan Heining and Richard Morton Jack - but my challenge is to go more deep in some obscure facts of his short very controversal life. For this I need the help of everyone who knows something about Mike.

Who has memories, photographs, tunes, handwritten papers... something to use for this research please contact me at: dopachino@tiscali.it
Thanks.
